I have been a big fan of Lego games ever since I was a little kid; so naturally I was rather curious about the new play sets that they have created for kids. One of these sets is the new Minotaurus game, which I decided to try out with some friends. To play this game, one has to maneuver hero pieces across the maze, where they have to avoid the dreaded Minotaur who guards a hidden temple deep inside the mazes. Each person has to outmaneuver his opponents by putting wall blocks in their paths and try to be the first to reach the hidden temple.
Included in this Lego Minotaurus Game set are 1 buildable LEGO Dice, 1 rule booklet, 1 building instruction booklet and 12 LEGO micro-figures. There is a total of 224 pieces in this Lego set.

The die is made up of rubber, including the edges, and that makes them bounce in different directions. Kids will love this and it is quite hilarious to see them bounce in all directions; it’s very amusing to play indeed! This is a perfect game to play on a Sunday afternoon with the whole family; it can provide a fun filled experience and be quite relaxing as well.
The game can be played for about twenty to thirty minutes at a time. We even tried to set up our own set of rules and found out that the game can be played according to your own preferences and taste. In fact, it’s not necessary to have kids when you want to play this game; a set of adult friends or family can really enjoy this one just the same.
The game can also help sharpen your development skills; as gamers can try and create new sets of rules for this toy set a they go. The design and structure of the game can easily be changed and adjusted to your own preference. One of the great things that I like about this game is that the pieces are made up of Lego pieces, so I can add more pieces using my older Lego games. The toy set can then become as customizable as a race car.
The only problem that I encountered while playing with this game set is that the size of the Lego pieces might be rather small for most people to move around. They are similar in size as the regular Lego pieces, so it can sometimes be hard to move them around the close spaces of the maze. Kids might find it difficult to manage the small size of the maze, but they will definitely love the puzzling ways across the Minotaurus game set. The walls can become too much for some; and may prove to be difficult later in the game.
If you’re into game development, I would highly suggest that you get this toy set. It would be great to practice and develop one’s game mechanic skills and use the toy set to come up with different set of rules and regulations.
